Russian speaking Finance Director | AER International

For our client ? a major gold producer in Eurasia ? we are looking for:

Position Description

Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for the establishment and management of the finance function for the mine, overseeing budgeting? &? analysis,?? management? & financial? reporting,? tax? compliance,? treasury management, financial compliance, finance systems & controls.

Key Accountabilities

Recruitment, development and management of the staff finance function covering accounting, tax, budgeting, reporting and treasury

Provision of financial support to the General Manager and other members of the management team, including in the areas of cost control and capital efficiency
Preparation of financial budgets and forecasts and monitor performance against those budgets
Ensuring accounting, financial reporting and tax compliance meets with local regulatory and Group standards
Develop and implement in conjunction with Group Finance best practice procedures in respect of budgeting analysis, accounting financial reporting and treasury management
Implementation of sound and reliable finance systems and policies and a strong internal financial control environment

A successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong experience in the mining industry in the cold climate. Fluent Russian would be a distinct advantage.
