RichiePOSTER LGP2012 Little Green Pigs Richie Transforms Shakespeares Richard II into a Rollicking All Female Pub Crawl

Little Green Pig will perform ?Richie: A Rolling Pub Crawl Based on Shakespeare?s ?Richard II?? on Thursday-Saturday from Sept. 6th to Sept. 22nd

On Sept. 6-8, 13-15, and 20-22, Little Green Pig Theatrical Concern will give William Shakespeare?s circa 1595 English history play Richard II a gender-bending all-female Little Green Pig twist in Richie: A Rolling Pub Crawl Based on Shakespeare?s Richard II, which will be performed in downtown Durham, NC. According to the company?s website: ?The show begins at Fullsteam Brewery (726 Rigsbee Ave.) and promenades through bars, clubs and restaurants before landing in Durham Central Park.?

Moreover: ?Richie is a rampaging party girl, wreaking havoc with her entourage at the Cannes Film Festival when her spurned cousin Haley comes gunning for her throne. Staged as a raucous pub crawl up and down Rigsbee Ave. and Foster St. in downtown Durham, this all-female promenade will rock you like an all-nighter in Ibiza.?

Directed by Little Green Pig artistic director Jay O?Berski and designed by Kala Wolfe, Richie stars Jamie Bell, Nicola Bullock, Flynt Burton, Monica Byrne, Lakeisha Coffey, Drina Dunlap, Amanda Hahn, Kana Hatakeyama, Emily Hill, Jane Holding, Susannah Hough, Jess Jones, Tamara Kissane, Kyma Lassiter, Hope Hynes Love, Little Green Pig managing director Dana Marks, Bridget Patterson, and Alyssa Crash Wong.

The show features original looks by four Durham fashion designers: First Edition (http://www.fashionablytactless.com/), Gypsy Witch (http://gypsy-witch.com/), Belindabilly (http://www.belindabilly.com/), and Katharine Whalen (http://katharinewhalenmusic.com/).
