Amanda Seyfried as Linda Lovelace: First Look!

Amanda Seyfried plays the titular porn icon in Lovelace, the upcoming biopic about the '70s adult film industry's most famous Deep Throat practitioner.

Amanda took over for Lindsay Lohan after producers cut her loose amid her never-ending legal woes. While Lindsay seemed like a natural fit, this may have been a real blessing in disguise for the film, which co-stars Peter Sarsgaard.

Sarsgaard plays the husband who basically forces Seyfried's Lovelace into the industry (heathen), and James Franco even makes a cameo as Hugh Hefner himself.

The film will reportedly deconstruct the glamorous facade of the early porn biz via its rampant abuse of Lovelace, who went on to adamantly oppose her line of work.

Sounds like a must-see, and not necessarily only for its lead actress!

YC company Hyperink, a next-generation digital book publishing platform, is debuting a new service which helps bloggers create short books from their existing content. As we've reported in the past, Hyperink wants to disrupt the book publishing world. The startup's digital book publishing platform and full-service agency will help any aspiring author write, design, publish, market, and sell a book without any up-front fees. Hyperink wants to represent the long-tail of book demand. Hyperink's books production costs are under $1,000 on average, and are published in under a month. And also offers higher royalty rates, and give authors up to 50 percent of their earnings (many publishers give authors around 25 percent).

Hodgson leaves England talks with Euros itinerary

LONDON (AP) -Roy Hodgson left Wembley Stadium on Monday after four hours of talks with Football Association executives, looking poised to take charge of the England team and clutching a draft itinerary for the European Championship.

While the discussions were described by the FA as "positive," the West Bromwich Albion manager is yet to be confirmed as Fabio Capello's successor in the England job.

The post has been vacant since Capello's resignation in February but England is due to travel at the start of June to Poland, where the team is based for the tournament being co-hosted with Ukraine.

The group stage opener is against France on June 11.

The FA overlooked the favorite, Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp, and opted instead to approach Hodgson about the England job.

While even some players had publicly backed Redknapp for the job, the Spurs manager said he had no problem with the FA's decision.

"I don't hold grudges, I don't feel like that," Redknapp said. "There's no problem. If Roy takes the job I wish him all the best. He's a great guy. "I'm sure he'll be a big success. I still think England's got some great players, I really do."

Taking charge of England would be the pinnacle of a 36-year coaching career for the well-traveled Hodgson.

The 64-year-old Londoner has had spells in club football in England, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Switzerland and Italy, where he was twice in charge of Inter Milan.

Hodgson guided unheralded Fulham to the 2010 Europa League final - beating Juventus along the way - and was voted manager of the year by his fellow coaches for leading the west London club to a record-high position of seventh in the Premier League.

He was subsequently lured to Liverpool, where he endured an unsuccessful six-month stint before being fired in January 2011.

But West Brom handed Hodgson a swift chance to rebuild his reputation a month later and he repaid the club's faith in him by keeping the club in the Premier League. West Brom is 10th in the standings with two matches to go this season.
