Snoop Dogg Arrested For Marijuana Possession

Snoop Dogg was arrested in Texas this weekend after an actual dog uncovered marijuana on his tour bus at a border patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca.

Willie Nelson got popped for weed in the same small back in 2010.

Ironic, seeing as Snoop went off against cops in 2010 for arresting the country singer at the time, claiming, "They better leave Willie the f**k alone."

Snoop Dogg on April 20 of last year. And probably most days of last year.

In Snoop's case, the border patrol ran a standard inspection of the bus, when the K-9 agent alerted its human bosses to a possible hit in a waste basket in the back.

Sure enough, border patrol agents claim they found a red prescription bottle with several joints inside. We're told the bottle contained under a half-ounce of weed.

Officials say Snoop Dogg admitted the dope was his, and that he has prescription for cannabis in California. There is a zero tolerance policy for weed in Texas, however.

Snoop was issued a citation for misdemeanor drug possession and released. If convicted on the drug charge, the 40-year-old could face up to 180 days in jail.
